Minor update of the Android app

A minor update of Bopup Messenger for Android platform is released and it's version 1.0.6 beta is available. This release added support for notification when the communication server interrupts the established connection if another user enters to the IM network from Windows PC or Android device using the same account name. In that case the messenger app disconnects from the IM server and shows an appropriate message event.

Bopup IM Client SDK now supports File Transfer

We are glad to announce that our IM Client SDK added support to exchange files with other users through the communication server. This function is available now only in IServerClient interface that is intended for use by C/C++ developers but both IServerClientVB and IServerClientVBA will implement the file transfer feature soon.

In addition to the new version 1.1.0 of the SDK we released an update of Bopup Communication Server that properly recognizes and adds support to send and receive files from the applications builton the client SDK. So we recommend to update the server first to the recent version in order to be able to start using the file transfer functions from the IM library.

Prevent exceeding concurrent connections when a connected user enters to the IM from another place

Sometimes users may forget to log out or close the messenger client when they go to another PC and log to the instant messaging network again from the new location. Of course concurrent users are supported but at the same time this will increase the amount of overall users in the IM system and as result may exceed the number of concurrent users supported by the server license.

New version 4.3.7 of Bopup Communication Server added function to disconnect current connected user when he enters to the IM system from another computer/device. To enable this and log out a previously connected messenger use option called "Automatically close existing session on a new connection" that is on the Authentication tab of the Options dialog box.

It is highly required to update the messaging client too in order correctly recognize occurred disconnect because prior versions of the messengers would try to reconnect to the communication server that would cause issues.
