We tested our instant messenger apps for Windows PC platform and successfully ran it on Mac OS X under Wine layer. Recent release of Bopup Messenger works correctly on Mac OS version 10.10 "Yosemite" but we will continue it's further testing.
The IM client received "Gold" award that means that the application works with no problems but some minor updates may be required. We noticed that the messenger does not start immediately after it's installation has finished. The application shows that "Client/Server module was not found" and that's a result of missing stardard "mfc42.dll" library that is always present in Windows. In order to resolve this issue "mfc42" DLL must be installed. This can be done using winetricks script.
