We are proud to announce that renewal of Upgrade Service subscription is now available with 20% and 30% discounts! The Upgrade Service offers the use of new versions of self-hosted Bopup IM including both communication server and messenger clients. The service subscription for 1st year is added for free to an initial purchase cost of the IM software but subsequent periods are paid annually. Now new customers may purchase the IM products with subscription for 2-year period with 20% discount or for 3 years with 30% discount.

There are also discounts available for Hosted IM that we also offer. The IM service for 6 months can be purchased with 5% discount and 10% off is available on purchase of 12-month service subscription.

New version of the IM Server fixes displaying charts and many more

We release a new version 5.9.1 of Bopup Communication Server that is a mior update of the app. This release fixes issues with displaying charts on Dashboard screen in Management Console. Previous versions of the console brought SQL errors if the server database has a lot of users and delivered messages so we had to simplified query statements to get the charts working.

Version 5.9.1 also improves and avoid possible issues with network connections and requests from a huge number of IM clients so now the IM server must work better and faster.

There a lot of other small changes in the server console including app interface and performance.

What's new:

Added MyGroups feature

Recent versions of the software now support MyGroups feature that allow to create user groups directly from instant messenger clients. These function is available to Power User and Adminstrator account types only and it lets users to organize their own groups similar to Messaging Groups created on the IM server. Improved overall performance of the IM server

New version of the messaging server improves and fixes structure of the SQL database. We noticed that when the server database grows with a lot of transferred messages, user sessions and other internal information that causes different issues related to overall performance of the IM server. New update adds all necessary indexes and new fields to SQL tables to fix them so now the server should work faster and better.

Many interface improvements

The server console fixes issues in it's interface such moving between elements in the left tree using arrows on the keyboard, saving message/transfer log into text files, displaying last logon time in Find Users view, moving/deleting messages in archive views, and others.
